Welcome to the Cub Club's Website!

Welcome to the Cub Club where we have over 50 years of Flying Fun!

According to an old story, we call it "The Cub Club" because our very first aircraft was a brand new Piper Cub. We're not really sure, but we do know that we've been offering safe, economical aviation to pilots and student pilots in Southwest Florida for almost 60 years. Members enjoy low, all-inclusive hourly rates, no ground time or overnight charges, and a whole "fleet" of other benefits, too.

Here in Southwest Florida you'll discover sensational flying opportunities at just about any heading you fly, with interesting destinations at almost any point of the compass, as long as it isn't 270.

Some of our members are high-time military and airline pilots who are always ready to share their knowledge and experience. There's no shortage of "hangar flying" around the Cub Club.

One more thing ... we're VERY serious about airworthiness and aircraft safety. All Club aircraft are maintained on a regular basis in accordance with all applicable FAA regulations and Airworthiness Directives.

(12/12/2008) On November 18, U.S. Customs and Border Protection published the Advance Information on Private Aircraft Arriving and Departing the United States final rule.
( Private Aircraft Final Rule ) This rule requires private pilots or their designees to transmit electronically to CBP:

  • Traveler manifest information for each individual traveling onboard the aircraft

The new regulations are effective December 18, 2008 with a 180-day voluntary compliance period ending on May 18, 2009. On December 18, 2008, CBP will begin to accept voluntary APIS manifests for private aircraft arriving in and departing from the United States. On May 18, 2009, the voluntary compliance period will end and private aircraft pilots (or their designees) must adhere to the requirements of this final rule.
